HMR Associates is a small woman owned business that has been in operation for over twenty years.  Our history has been one of continued client satisfaction achieved by the application of the talents of highly experienced personnel to problems and opportunities of said clients.  In the past we have chosen to restrict growth to concentrate on the needs of a small client set.  Our future plans call for controlled growth to a broader client base.

To date, HMR has chosen to provide its services as a subcontractor to commercial firms where the ultimate end state “customers” are government organizations, nominally Department of Defense (DoD) related.  Customer organizations include portions of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and research arms of the US Air Force and US Army. 

HMR personnel provide professional services focused on assistance in creating long-range strategies and implementation structures, assistance in devising programs, organizations and implementation mechanisms to modernize various aspects of manufacturing and to provide improved logistics services, and are thoroughly familiar with defense systems acquisition processes and meeting strategic and program/project planning requirements under acquisition constraints. 

HMR has extensive experience in planning and implementing research and modernization programs related to manufacturing systems and logistics support with special emphasis on implementation issues and business case development for integration investments.  The development and management of efforts related to weapon system sustainment needs has been a recent company focus, with HMR providing over five years of direct sustained support to DLA Logistics Research and Development (R&D) activities.
